However, not all is bad in Kibera. What I found, as I have in all the slums I have visited are a people of amazing strength, courage and determination. In spite of overwhelming poverty I found a humility and dignity far greater than any I have experience in any western city of the world. Superman and Batman are colourful charters but for me these are the true heroes of our world.
